Our Equality Intent 

Our vision for equality is based on our firm belief that every child deserves the same life chances. We want children to understand the importance of the Equality Act 2010 and the 9 protected characteristics.  

We celebrate and learn from each other’s differences to continually develop empathy, respect and appreciation for one another.  

We support children in developing a strong moral compass. We intend to ignite a fire in every student’s belly to fight injustice with a desire to be a changemaker.

We want every child to have the confidence to stand up for what’s right, for themselves and for others, especially those whose voice is not as strong. We will challenge our own and others’ bias to continually disrupt inequality. We will ensure that every child succeeds by acknowledging inequalities and making adjustments to counteract imbalances.

Every child will feel represented, valued and excited for the bright future that lays ahead of them.
