The School Day

Reception, Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5, Y6

School begins at:  8.45am

School ends at:  3.30pm

Nursery

Morning session: 8.45am - 11.45am 

Afternoon session: 12.30pm  - 3.30pm

Dropping off

We have a ‘soft start’ at the beginning of the school day. This means that from 8:45am all children arriving to school are to go straight to their classrooms where they are greeted by their teacher. 

Please do not send your child to school before 8:45am unless they have been booked into the breakfast club. If you have not booked a session, you will be charged an administration fee.

Registration takes place as normal at 9am. Children, who arrive after this time will receive a late mark.

Please make sure that your child is always on time. If you arrive after 9am, please take your child to the school office, where you will need to sign them in on the Inventory screen. 

Collecting

Gates open at 3.30pm. 

Children are to be collected at 3.30pm promptly. Collecting your child late will incur a late collection fee of £5.00 per 15 minutes. 

Your child remains in the carer of the parents or carer before 8.45am and after 3.30pm. 

If you know that you will be late collecting your child please contact the school office so that we can reassure your child.
Please do not to park on the yellow zigzag lines at the front of the school or anywhere in the road leading up to the school office. This can prevent access in an emergency.

Access for EYFS and KS1 is through the gate leading onto Mansell Playground. 

Access for KS2 is through the main gate leading to the school's office. 

Please ensure that you use the pedestrian path and do not walk down the driveway, which is intended for vehicles only. This is for your own safety and to model good road safety to all of our students. 

School Streets

In March 2024, Mansell Road became a 'School Street'. This means only cars with permits can drive on Mansell Road during the following hours: 

8.30- 9.15am
